Coach Requirements and Education

ARYS and WYSA has established minimum requirements for all coaches and assistant coaches (age 18+).

Minimum Requirements

  1. Coach Risk Management
    • RARYS requires all coaches and assistant coaches (age 18+) to register for a digital Coach Pass Card through Wisconsin Youth Soccer Assocation (WYSA). Players Health administers all background checks and trainings. Login with your Demosphere credentials.  Click Here.
    • Background check costs are paid for by RARYS and is required every 2 years.
    • Safe Sport trainings are required to be completed every year.
  2. Education
    • RARYS recommends all head coaches to attend the RARYS coaching clinic held prior to the fall/spring season.

Coaching Certification Opportunities

RARYS encourages and covers the cost of coaching certification for active RARYS coaches. {Please contact Kim Luckey to obtain approval prior to registering for a course}

  • WYSA Offers the following certification courses:
    • 4v4 Grassroots (Division 1)
    • 7v7 Grassroots (Division 2 & U10)
    • 9v9 Grassroots (Division 3 & U12)
    • 11v11 Grassroots (Division 4 & U14)
    • D Courses (US Soccer License has prerequisites)
    • C Courses (US Soccer License has prerequisites)
